Beauty Is

Beauty is,

And the World knows.

She tells us-

In sunsets,

With the shadows and tones

They paint across the faces of we.

We who take it all for granted.

We who know that if we miss today's sunset,

There will be one tomorrow.

But where there is not,

What Beauty is there then?

Could you find it?

In Alaska, when the sun does not rise,

Therefore does not set,

Could you find it?

For Beauty is, but are you?
