Poem about the questioning of personal existence
Can you see it Charlie? Can you?
All the bright lights that embrace vaguely
the sudden surrender of a crippled man’s soul?
The crippled man’s soul...
Whispering in the dead breeze
Crows fighting for a corpse
of a confused virgin...
His hand opened like an angel rushing into battle!
It trembled in a violent way and bled continuously
for three gloomy days.
I pray and I wake but no peace is found...
Only a desperate need to begin the end.
Can you hear it Charlie? Can You?
The thumping of the white horse
as he approaches the raven’s nest?
The soldier had no pity
As he slaughtered his will in the name of a weak god...
The night gave in and the deep howling
Of the young boy’s mother
Collapsed in confusion and despair
Take my hand...now!
I rather follow the splendid demons
Of the damp forest
than listen to the opinions of vibrant snakes...
Everything is empty of any conclusion,
everything is sorrow and sad delusion.
It’s not me anymore,
only a shadow of my crippled soul...
