I Met A Man

He is 40, tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, southerner, accent,
was in the military,
has a mom and a sister, niece or nieces,
he is divorced, wife cheated
this is what I know.

He sent me a message to text him at this number,
do I?
no, I don't know this person, i don't know how to talk to him? What do I say?
I wait for days and days.

Its Friday night, I'm at home with my children and so....
I text him, What do you do on a friday night in your area? this is Karen
I got a message back saying- Where are you?, can I call you?
I text back-ok
He calls
We talk
He talks about hisself a little and ask some questions about me, I answer a few.
He says he notices I seems unsure about answering, I tell him I am that i don't like to talk about my ex. I really don't want anyone to know what I had went through, I don't like sympathy, I can't handle people feeling sorry for me. I made my choices, I had to live with them. I also didn't like explaining my choices. So my answers were short.
He was driving and said he was in the country and his phone doesn't get good coverage there and would call me back, he didn't want the phone to cut off on me. Oh that was nice, or did he just not want to talk anymore to me?
He called back not very long after. So he did call back.
We talked a little longer and said good night.

Couple days went by and I hear from him again.

then I hear from him again.

then again.

I learn more about him and I tell a little more about me.
He said it was ok I didn't always answer and he wouldn't give up.

We will see how it goes.
