I don't want your sympathy just for you to understand,
yes he is a bit different this child here holding my hand.
He may just look like any other child you see,
but his brain is special and wired differently.
He may seem wild and out of control,
but til you look past that the loving boy you'll never know .
He's made me scared, he's made me laugh and he's made me cry.
He never stops and thinks to ask why,
other kids can do things he cant do .
He's so special he'll only see the good in you.
Everyday theres plenty of kisses for his "beautiful" mum,
answer honestly wouldnt you adore a loving son ?
His hugs kisses and that cheeky smile,
always make the heartache worth the while.
He may not always act as he should,
but deep in my heart I know he would if he could.
He can be difficult he can be fun,
but he'll always be my extra special loving son
