Old habits hard to kill,
The addicts being return to fill.
A single obsession craves expression,
Once reviled actions take total possession.
Days and nights the addict toils,
To rid himself of these odious boils.
Fight to fight he wins the battle,
Only to discover the war lost- more trouble
The fool yet another fire he stokes,
Inflamed by passions carnal pleasure evokes.
It’s divine – no devil this sweetness bestows.
He gorges himself on her – anything goes.
Stolen wells quench his desire,
Swollen mounds he gropes to devour.
With each sensual stroke a knot he fastens;
Ties which enslave; shackles that can’t be broken. – The new addiction.
