Poetry, The longest Night
Lost in a devious tide, a swell in the ocean that only runs me a stray.
The stars that will guide me have disapated beneathe these clouds of black and gray.
This twisted undertow carries an anger of which I cannot fight.
So I close my weary eyes and hold my shallow breath, and pray to survive this endless night.
