Rhythmic poetry......Or not

I thought I would have a little fun today seeing as though my last one was just me ranting.
This blog entry is dedicated (can I do that? I am going to anyway) to all of those people who say I have the heart of a poet, or a poetic way of writing. This is for you, you will see that my poeticness in writing is a sham, doesn't exist.

I don't normally rhyme,
Not even some times.
Ok, I may dabble,
Cause I'm part of the usual rabble.
Now don't criticise,
I don't mean to patronise.
Writing poetry is hard,
It takes the soul of a real bard.
Of that I was not given,
Nor got and greatly hidden.
Writing stories is more my affair,
So whilst reading please be aware,
Rules and tricks have not been taught
All that's in my head,next to naught.
Having words with similar endings
To finish sentences, condescending?
Now this may not be making much sense,
But that is mainly because I am dense.
I thought I would give it a shot,
Cause this is all I've got.
Hope you weren't expecting the sublime.
