Pea Soup Green
It was a glorious pea-soup green. Not the lumpy, fetid kind of soup though. It was more of the type of soup that was made of emerald peas blended with garden-fresh mint leaves. The same soup you'd sip from a silver spoon while sitting in a business-casual cafe in chilly New York City. Your stiff, reddened nose would melt as the cashmere warmth of the soup radiated off the bowl. Every strand of emerald-dyed softness was so carefully,so gracefully, placed it as if the weaver thought deeply about each and every movement of her hand. A gasp. Never had Matiline seen anything so gorgeous in her life.
