Just a short poem about work. Not complaining, just an observation

Work

Work is work
and that's all there is.
No time for any thing else,
there's so much that I miss.
I'm tired and worn out.
I'm old before my time.
What happened to the days
of care free living;
of changing my plans
with a flip of a dime?
