Kaleidoscope

Distorted images, in then out.
A mirage of colors, dark then light;
shapes then figures,
and questions of normality.
I need some sort of a sign.
Events out sequence,
or a circus playing in my mind?

Deep in my thoughts
I've created a world of my own.
A kaleidoscope of events
set in my own tone.
In the background,
your presence is felt and known;
and love is brightly shown.

Are you real and here to stay?
A kaleidoscope of memories,
or images of wishful thinking?
Voices and sounds, in then out.
Invoking feelings I thought couldn't be found.
The mirage of colors, dark then light.
Dreaming of a life from another time?
