Testing the waters on writing conversations, need feedback on how it flows.
Seven-thirty a.m. Friday

“Well where the hell are your socks?” I ask.
“I don’t know, they were here on the table but when I got back from the bathroom they were gone.” Said Hanna.
“Okay, well socks don’t just get up and walk away, so finish eating breakfast and FIND them!” I demanded.

I need coffee, it is too early

“Kim, I can’t find my library book, I need it! It’s due back today and if I don’t have it I’m going to get into trouble!” Cathy uproariously stated.
“Well where did you leave it?” I asked.
“I don’t know." She said.
“Well, where was the last place you remember seeing it?" I asked.
“In my back pack…Oh, never mind, it’s in my back pack.” She said.

Kill me

“Mom, don’t forget parent teacher conferences are tonight. Six-thirty, you do remember, right mom?” Beth asked.
“Yes, of course, conferences, six-thirty, got it.” I responded.

The coffee is getting closer

“Kim, um, did my dad tell you that I need money for shop?" Anthony asked.
“No, for what?!” I asked.
“A woods project we’re doing.” He said.
“How much?” I asked.
“Seventy.…” He began.
“What?! Seventy DOLLARS?” I interrupted.

Reachingreaching

"Oh look Hanna, SOCKS, behind the coffee pot, of course that’s where they are." I said.
