A Soldiers Tale: Shot Down

Chapter 1: Downed

"Shit we've been hit,We've been hit!" cried the left gunner.
"Status report, quickly!" replied the pilot,"and see if everyone is alright!"
"Tail gunner's dead and we lost one engine,right side!" screamed someone from the back of the aircraft.
So far the raid was not going well fro Major John Harper and his squad. For John and his squad the next gunshot might mean being blown up and burned to death by plane fuel.
"Alpha Squad we've missed your DZ, you have to bail now or be blown to kingdom come, you choice!" yelled the co-pilot.
"Affirmative,Squad Alpha JUMP, JUMP, JUMP" screamed John to his squad. One after another, Squad Alpha jumped not knowing when they landed if they would ever see Britain again.
