This system is no longer for us
Capitalism

Capitalism has failed for the most of us.
Many drive expensive cars, while we ride the bus.
The wealthy few take advantage of all the others;
While we in the majority, get screwed by their brothers.

How can we ever get even, or get ahead,
Working every day, and so many go unfed.
While we’re busy just trying to get enough to eat,
The rich have thousand dollar shoes on their sorry feet.

This type of system is beyond its usefulness.
The rich pay the Congress, to game the whole mess.
It’s time to revolt, I must admit at this time.
I can no longer stand these corporations of slime.

We can’t rest for a day while the pressures mount,
As the few in charge, get our homes at a discount.
Our representatives don’t ever represent us;
If they all died at once, it might be a plus.

The insanity of this system has got to stop.
The corporate view has become a flop.
Stop donating our money as a political contribution.
Who of you will stand up to seek retribution?

The lies we are told every single day,
Are a shame, while in D.C. they pillage and play.
They don’t give a damn about you or me.
We need to remove them right now, you see.

Is there no way to stop these greedy people?
I say we hang a few from the highest steeple.
If that doesn’t work, then more force may be required.
Let’s stop working, until they’re all fired.

They say that we shouldn’t redistribute the wealth.
They say it would be bad for our country’s health.
They want to eliminate our Social Security.
They’d like to give it to Wall Street, because of their purity?

Both of the political parties have lost their way.
They’ve sold their souls for money, I say.
When you try to step on the throat of those who are down,
You had better believe that a revolution might come to town!

They say let’s eliminate all those nasty regulations.
Then we’ll see how fast we take out our frustrations,
They want to steal even more, of what we have left.
You can’t steal everything we have, and not call it theft.

It’s time to rise up and shut them down.
We may have to take hostages, when they come to town?
They’ll call out the army to protect their greed.
In the name of liberty, off our bones they’ll feed.

I say we should now cast off the shackles.
They’re no better than a flock of wild grackles.
We’ve got a political class of greedy bitches.
The ruling class in this nation should end up in ditches.
