Sensibility

Everyone is someone in someone else's eyes.
That's why, decidedly, I pride myself in saying you're a prize!
And if you don't feel you're capable or able to satisfy,
Allow these rhymes to sway your mind, my friend,
And delight in what you find!

To a someone out there watching, friend,
You are a mackerel sky;
Floating aloft, your vibrant pinks and golds
Swirl about and fly
In a magnificent battle of color, each of them
Trying to shine
The brightest of them all, my friend.
Amid a string of muted clouds,
You alone transcend.

To someone out there listening,
You are the ebb and tide.
Your gentle waves awake bare feet,
You, so blue and green and wide
And open to the world, your ears
They hear each playful laugh
As your distant hues reflect rolling hills
Of happiness relaxed.

To someone out there with a nose
For all that's scented sweet,
You are the earthen flowers rising up
To meet our feet.
You caress us with your petals
White and red and pink and blue,
A rainbow of perfection, you're the scent
That remains true.

To someone with exceptional taste,
You're the friend to befriend without haste!
And keeping in mind touch as well,
You're the someone with a velvet shell.
So when you're feeling all alone and
Your thoughts wont come to rest,
Just come back to your senses, friend,
To someone, you're the best.
