Fairytale Night

As we are walking down the street,

you hold my heart as you grab my hand.

As we walk under the moonlight,

the stars glimmer only for us.



As you look at me with your beautiful eyes,

butterflies in my stomach find there is a suprise.

You hold me close under the deep night sky.

A slow song played by the crickets about us.



Fireflies dance about,

as to show us the way through the dark,

as you bring me to a clearing among the many trees.



Moonlight filters through the branches,

a natural spot light on only us.





You hold me close in the cool evening air,

the leaves rustling in the breeze.

You pull me close and place a kiss upon my lips.

"I love you," You whisper in my ear.



As you hold me close in the night,

you lean in for another embrace.



I open my eyes only to see sunlight,

pouring in from shut shades.

It was only a dream,

never to come true awake.
