Who can judge the powerful? |
So many wars. So many scourged cities. How many slaughtered? Ayesha laughed at the pitiful slaves before her. She would defile them. Her court of puppet jury and judge laughed with her in fear of their lives. "You leave me earth and keep Heaven for yourself. Is that not fair?" Ayesha smirked. "If you desire to enter my body, what treasure do you hope to take?" the slave Abishag shouted over the barking dogs. "My dear, I am just an instrument of God, who has preordained our fate." Ayesha clapped her hands and the dogs ravaged her slaves. Flesh was torn and bones exposed as bowels were opened to view. Abishag did not let out a single cry or groan. Ayesha was most displeased with this. "The valiant woman has spoiled our evenings entertainment. But, there are many more to chose from. God as been generous in our victims." Ayesha had conquered the world. She was generous to her allies. For she feared her mortality. It is written that those who live by sword must die by the sword. In her tenth year of reign as supreme ruler, Ayesha was murdered by her own son. He poisoned her figs. Adeliade was a good Emperor. He did not persecute his slaves. But, many sought to take his throne. He too was murdered. The villain was his trusted adviser Philo. Philo's murder of a beloved Emperor brought about the fall of Ayesha's empire. The world was split into warring nations. And there was greater suffering than Ayesha had inflicted. Why? How could there be no peace? Ayesha had taught the world to hate and they could not forgive. The lions of war fed on each other until there was only a remnant of humanity. These savages forgot Ayesha's cruelty and lived in God loving tribes. There were so few left there was plenty for every tribe. Peace returned to the human beings. =+= |
