Planetary Poltergeist (Pt. 1)

Symptoms within this 'cystic cell',
where are as parasites,
stems from a sickness to outsell.

Once a seeable paradise
is now in shock, disturbed & gray.
You could say impaired at a price.

Some put stock in uncertain ways
for fillin' drums of Texas tea,
though toxic when it dirties bays.1

While 'deep drilling' affects the sea
and stock markets' daily status,
patrons deal with excessive fees?

Woe are we, once the globe's axis
upchucks as if it were repulsed
which often sow seeds of sadness.

Whensoever the convulse
waves of unfortunate events,
rarely will help unearth a pulse;

for instance, look at Port-au-Prince.
They're injured, dead or at a lost.2

Plenty of viewers pledge their troth,
seeing as there is life to nurse,
for donatin' through the cross.

Flocks of folks, quakin' in Christchurch,3
were mindfully keepin' close watch
on their midst heightened alerts.

There are risks, of countries awash,
on the horizon past the strand,
due to the blue onrushing slosh.

The waves that had engulfed Japan4
and the following grief it wreaked,
was one of those days, understand?

Week by week a leak5
has added fuel to the
(to the dismay of ecofreaks).

Set in motion is nature's ire
ahead of her fatal tallies,
'cause we've all a date to expire.

Seeing that tornado alley
has now changed into a turnpike,
there is no safe room to rally.

The forecast takes its toll on life6
whenever 'gloomy gales' are sprung,
amidst jet streams, to churn out strikes.

Assuming that the knell has rung,
these acts of God beg the question:
"Have we outstayed our welcome?"
