Tazzy Pup

When I think back to yesterday,
I remember us running at play.
A little dog's love I held dear,
His unconditional love so near.

He'd jump his tail over his back,
Posture perfect he had no lack.
My little dog I loved for years,
He keeps me happy with no tears.

The day will come for us to part,
It will certainly break my heart,
Doggy heaven awaits him up there,
Live up high with God somewhere.

People may say he's just old dog.
He's not worth more than a frog.
If they believe all this is true.
Dogs gives more than they consume.
