Ripples of tears, they fall,
Cascade from your cheeks,

Another night of dispare,
Of fragility, of a man
Unbalanced, waver…..

Why does it hurt inside?
Like the pounding if a ram
On my guarded door?

Boom…….boom……..
….booom……

Resounds through
My chest
Breaking through

Who am I letting in?
Who crashes down
Upon my heart strings

Playing them till
Raw and weakened

The guard is down
And the pounding resumes

Is this deceit or
Truth?


Too lacking in strength
To care, I collapse

Falling, deep, hoping,
