Angel's Wires

The swirling haze attempts to block my view,
to see inside, view the real man.
Hide and protect the very essence of you,
shield and cover as best it can.

As the water rains down over you,
I hear a plea from deep within.
Pledge of love that’s ever true,
a lifelong quest you seek to win.

Stepping through the glass, I join you there.
Together we’ll wash the pain away.
Lather you with tender care,
fear and doubt I shall allay

Gently dried and clothed in peace,
a promise whispered, can you hear?
Of timeless love that shall never cease,
an oath to span eternal years.

Enduring love forever bound,
sealed by Him, never to divide.
Our Fated hearts once more have found,
the Angel’s wires with which we’re tied

Close your eyes and rest with me.
Twine your fingers in mine now.
The haze is gone, we both can see
the Sacred gift of pure loves vow.
