A short poem I wrote, please enjoy.
I’ve grown so tired
Over the years I have grown so tired
So frustrated, weak, weary
I’m So Goddamn angry, all the time

I sat down to write something
Something inspiration and deep
Words that would jump off the page
Ideas that would make you think
About love, about life, about mankind
But I wrote nothing. Not one word.

This doesn’t rhyme, but I thought it would
I don’t have the time to write anymore
And if I did, I don’t really know if could
Make my words rhyme, that is.
Oh how I want to write again!
My one true love, my hearts true wish

But I’ve grown so tired. Oh how I pine for music
To sway under its beautiful and harmonic influence
Please Please Please let me get what i want
Lord knows it would be the first time!
I can remember as a child, before I would fall asleep
I would stretch out and wait for the music to take me

Oh the light of the world is dim.
