NOTES:  Brethad means Tower City, a city with at least one tall central tower and a surrounding wall.  Derived from breth towerBrethad Veirn, the Tower[-city] of Brothers included four central towers Ebon and Van Ebony and White, and Afar and Eleth Sun and MoonBrethad Veirn was a great Elven city, and was destroyed by agents of the Devil through a combination of political infighting, and the complacency of it's population.  This Lament is credited to an unknown survivor of the fall of the great city.
