What have I ever done to deserve this?
A perfect angel from heaven above!
A cold, lonely life would now start to cease
Because of her, my first and only love.

A summer smile that warms my winter heart,
Eyes that stare into a person; not out
And a mind which is beyond the word ‘smart’
All these she possesses, without a doubt.

To my ears, she may sound like good music.
To my eyes, she may have a divine glow.
If she will love me is enigmatic.
However, there is one sure thing I know:

From now on up to my final hour,
So faithfully, I will always love her
