What would it be like to play on the ceiling?
Up On The Ceiling
Story by Sheila Breckenridge

Every night I dream I slip out of  bed and explore… the ceiling.

Lampshades are huge mushrooms, great fun to leap over.

Jump over door frames like a horse hopping fences.

The taps in the bathroom flow with warm water, soon the whole room makes a greats a

pool.

Go downstairs by mountain climbing.  What a view from the top!!

The stairs are boulders or tree limbs to climb down one at a time.

Grab a snack of ice cream, now that I can reach the freezer!!

I ride my scooter all across the downstairs, no one will notice they’re all asleep.

Go back up the boulders to get to the second floor.

Climb up the ladder and it’s back to bed, it’s a good thing I have a bunk bed, or I’d

need a rope!!
