little poem
I knew he would be here.
He is a grinning madman.
I laugh in my head; it was less than a second.
(I want to meet him in the corner
and fuck ‘til we dissolve into the walls.)
Lips slide into a smile.
Take the time to come over here and say hello.
What is she you're hiding from? You slut.
Nerves grin with delight.
What an ironic joy to see you here, walking by,
the logic of your decision a mystery,
yet thrilling none the less.
Where are you going?
I found you in heaven sneaking through the clouds,
or was it you who found me when
we met in the middle of a laugh?
