A poem of determination
Persevere

The torn vessal took from crest to crest
It's armor broken
It's integrity shattered
The fierceness biting it's flesh
With it's worn and torn mast
Nothing left, but the ore
Taken one by one
They put them deep into the blue
But try as they may
Never closer
The wind, it blew anger
And the thunder, it screamed misery
Still they put them deep into the blue
Never getting closer
Never gaining ground on the
Tightening storm
Some sailors merely grew blisters
Some grew old with tears
Yet still they fought
Others died as hero's, fighting the tyrannic storm
Never to be taken alive
Never to surrender
With each flailed attempt
They become strong
Strong to put them one by one
Deep into the blue
Strong to see the birth of calm.
