A look from afar
a feeling so near.
How do I tell thee,

I can draw you a picture

But a picture can never
capture what's real.

Do I go to the mountains,
and climb to the top?
Scream out your name,
until my lungs stop.

Shall I ask a friend
to inform you of such?
This feeling you give me
is becoming too much.

Hard to contain,
what I feel for you.
So how do I tell thee,
that my heart is true?

I ponder alone,
I count all the ways.
My head knows what's right;
but my heart betrays.

I shall not tell thee
in a way to conform.
But rather, let you read
in the simplest form.

Do not worry,
for I will not stray.
My heart with yours
Is where it shall stay.
