Blinded by Beauty

To see beauty all around
The beauty we all possess
Is a very powerful gift.
All the violence in the world
And the hatred between men
Has stifled our sight
To see the real beauty within.

The negativity which surrounds us
And the lies told to us all
Has blinded us to the truth
And hindered our vision.
For there is beauty in everything
We only need to open our hearts
And the precious gift of beauty is ours.

Straining our eyes
Looking through the haze and fog of war
The ability to still see the beauty in everything
To see the beaut y in all
Should be held in the highest regard
For a gift of beauty, when given in love
Will always remain in our heart.
