Crabapple Winter

This is Crabapple Winter,
a work I devote myself to on odd, rainy days. It's a novel, a wildly fictional
account of me and my family on a mad adventure through the Great Tribulation.
If we seem a little crazy, well I've † turned us all into characatures, extreme ones.
Hopefully they'll all laugh at themselves and you'll have a good time too. It's a romp
through a culture that is fading over the years and a look at some of our foibles, a
serious one. Do tread lightly and read for fun. If it gets rough, just know life ain't always
easy when you're just a kid and the devil is breathin' down your back. So if you feel
hot, sulphurous breath as you read -- beware. Just say Skat Cat! and remember, it's
only a story.
