It's about remembering a person after they pass away, or even leave
Remember me when I’m gone
Not with a heavy heart
Or sadness in your soul
But with a smile in your eyes
And Joy in your heart

Remember me when I’m gone
The times we laughed
The memories we made
Even the times we disagreed
They all make up you and me

Remember me when I’m gone
How we helped each other grow
How we learned from the mistakes
There’s no time for sorrow or grief
When you remember me when I’m gone.
