The Living Green
Green grass and a quiet take,
take my thoughts at Lonely Lake.
Lake rings ripple from rolling fish,
fish now caught t’was my angler wish.
Wish upon this soft country breeze,
breeze that blows through mountain trees.
Trees so tall they squeeze the satin sky;
Sky crystal blue, kisses mountains high.
High eagle shadow upon green valley grass,
grass and flowers lightly dancing as I pass.
Pass this way through nature’s gentle scene,
scene and soul swirl in the living green.
