Poem about fighting with the devil.
The Devil looks at the boy, says "wanna play a game?,

If you win, I promise you, fortune and fame "

"but if you lose i get to take, your life and your soul,

And you will have to come with me, to my hellish hole"

The boy replies, "I know that you have never been defeated,

Every opponent you have played, surely has been cheated"

The Devil says, "pick a game, I'll let you choose,

Pick a game, that you think, you'll never lose "

Cause he wants to live his life, easily you know,

He looks back at the devil, saying "tic tac toe"

The boy believes the devil, won't be able to cheat,

So they get the paper ready, and both take a seat.

Boy puts a X,

Devil puts an O,

Boy goes next,

Devils turn to go.

The game is a tie,

They start over again,

Paper piling so high,

Will this ever end?

The boy knows the stakes, and he'll never quit,

Finally one day, the devil says it -

"okay, I give up, it's time for me to leave,

You won, I didn't cheat, no aces up my sleeve. "

The boy stands up, arms raised to the skies,

But he sees his own reflection, in the devils eyes.

And what he sees, he can't understand,

The once young boy, is now an old man.

"your fortune is you keep your soul", the devil says to him,

"your fame is that you beat me, your the first ever to win. "

"Never play with evil!", the old man now would say,

"The devil didn't take my soul, he took my life away! "
