Glory

----Isaiah 14:12-15How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
But you are brought down to the grave,
to the depths of the pit.

Gen. 3:15 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.-----

The devil fell from pride, and enticed us to sin. Man fell before any sin could utter forth from a fallen heart. We fell when we ate of the fruit. Before blasphemy, murder, fornication, adultery, or any other sin happend, we were contaminated. The devil tricked humans into thinking that we could be like God, putting his own folly on us. He tricked us into thinking that we deserve glory. This is where the big, little thing comes into play. It's called the law and its supposed to bring a knowledge of sin. We were meant to glorify God, not ourselves. Everytime we give glory to ourselves were really just fooling ourselves, and admitting before God our guilt.

----Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.---

There is a great mystery in how God, Glory, and sexuality go together. God IS love, and sex was made by God as the highest form of expressing love. The act is symbolic of many, many things and is meant to glorify God. Its sacred. It's Holy. And the Word is very clear about what happends to those who sin sexually. It's the only sin thats a sin against another person, aswell as a sin against yourself. God should take the place of the glory your looking for for yourself.

---Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.---

God, and God alone deserves ALL the glory for EVERYTHING.

---Jonah 2:6-9 But you brought my life up from the pit, O LORD my God. When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple. Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. But I, with a song of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD.---

---Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.---


America needs to repent.
