Tell me what in the world
Makes you shiver with fright
Is it ghosts or big monsters
Or just bumps in the night.

Is it travelling home
That makes you worry and fret
Or shadows and dark corners
And strangers you met.

As you walk down the street
You hear footsteps behind
Not daring to look back
