Playing with Foodstuffs

“Come hither, come hither,” said the spider to the fly

With a razor-sharp grin and glinting eyes

The fly only laughed and turned away

He said “I’m not going to be eaten today!”

The spider scoffed and started to chase

He raced that fly all over the place

Now, Bird was watching this hullaballoo

It was making her rather dizzy, too

She decided to end their silly game

So she ate them both and was on her way
