To every father who ever let go of their daughter.

Damages that can't be undone,
father is supposed to be number one.
Future relationships doomed from the start,
little girl mistrusting and with broken heart.
Your designed as my male reference,
your new family was your preference.
The happy meals are transparent,
like your parenting ideals.
I grew beyond your maturity years ago,
still clinging to my man issues though.
All your ever did was tease,
buying me off with toys always left me pleased.
You were the first man that I trusted and here you leave me feeling
disgusted.
How can you abandon your baby like that,
and then expect all this love back?
You missed all the important events,
never even tossed Mom two cents.
