Do you see me?
Or am I invisible to you
How can I make you believe?
Or do you just not want to?

I have simply become a ghost
In front of you but invisible
Making you see me again
Right now seems impossible

These unshed tears sting my eyes
The effort is so exhausting
Trying so hard not to cry
I must have been dreaming

To think you could have been mine
It felt so real when you made me fall
At least it did, at the time
Were you really mine at all?

I can't tell anymore
The difference between
What was reality
And what was just a dream

I'm so lost and confused
Stuck in the dark and
These thoughts come out of the blue
This feeling of unworthy

Has something changed
Is there something new?
Were the feelings feigned?
Were they untrue?
