Fear the Beard!

A ton of sporting athletes use a shaver's multi-foil,
But countless others grow a beard for looks which cannot spoil,
They sport a hairy carpet on a distasteful looking chin,
And dominate their sports like an MVP shoo-in!

A nasty beard will never change how well these guys perform,
A lot of winning for their teams and stellar play the norm,
But there’s some furry animal lodged upon their face,
Some mojo for these superstars, this otter in their space.

Looking better than before, their play speaks for itself,
Perhaps that rangy, bearish look should not go on the shelf,
A little trimmer here and there, who would even care,
That stern intimidation factor surely would be there!
