thoughts from an impoverished mind...
Drowning in Philosophy

Drowning in philosophy,
And drinking with saints.
Alone without a mind,
And in constant constraint.

Abashed in confusion,
And clouded in hate.
Annoyed by creativity,
And a detainer of fate.

A master of the mundane,
And a symbol of waste.
A believer in nothing,
With impeccable taste.

A tyrant of selfishness,
With an empathy for lies.
An individual of masochism,
Seen through virgin eyes.

A dictator of impropriety,
And a speaker of tongues.
An abnormal creation,
Born a hero unsung.

A spiritual leader,
Of atheists and none.
A spectacular nihilist,
And a nation of one.

A writer of words,
And reader of lines.
Passionately inactive,
And a waste of time…
