A stumbling block to enlightenment.

Cassy was the find of the century. She had been discover in the
polar regions frozen in ice. A pouch of terradactile eggs slung over her
shoulder suggested she was from the cambrian era; a time of dinosaurs
long before the rise homo ostiopithicus or homo sapiens or the great apes.
Cassy rose from her icey sleep in a miraculous burst of bioenergy.
Great minds ponder this mystery as Cassy told a story of being carried
away to amysterious nineth planet in our solar system and then cast out by
a capricious God Davo. Was Cassy really human?

And how could an entire planet evade detection from astronomers around
world? Perhaps the answer lay in multiverses: infinite universes folded on
themselves. This was too fantastic to be ignored by the press. Reporters
bribed and infiltrated the institute where Cassy was kept. But, were quickly
silenced by the Secret Society of Astronomers, a powerful global corporation
that insisted that all knowledge of exterestrials be supressed for national
security and capital gain. Cassy was a commodity.

"I know this is impossible, but there she is.
Don't tell me to calm down. This woman is over
100 million years old and she is learning our language
with the help of Janet our zoologist. She is telling a story
of interplanetary travel." Dr. Lawrence whispered over his cell
phone so that Janet and Cassy would not be distracted from
        their lessons.

The doctor was clearly baffled and desperate for a more reasonable explanation.

Reflections: I know what is real from my perception of reality.
                        But, can I be descieved?

    to be continued...
