InkTears Short Story Competition 2013

The InkTears annual short story competition is now open for entries. The contest has an open theme, and a word count between 1,000 to 3,000 words. This is the fifth year the competition has been running, and our very first competition winner was Bonnie West from Minnesota. Previously published stories are eligible for entry, as long as you still own the copyright.


The Prize
There are six prizes which will be awarded by the InkTears judging panel:
    Winner: £1,000 (approx $1500 USD)
    Runner-up: £100
    4x Highly Commended: £25

All prize winners will get their:
  Story published to the InkTears Readership
  Bio published on InkTears site
  Optional publishing contract*
 
*If the writer has enough quality short stories InkTears may offer the option of a contract to publish a short story collection. If they are at an early stage of development as a writer, we will consider including their work in an anthology.
