Just Breathe

A poem about wanting more

Knowing that there is more to life
than the day by day
I am not content to
just breathe
I am blessed beyond compare
I know
But satisfied with the way things are
is just not me
A direction to turn is not hard to find
But the right path...
is hard to decide
A misstep may not be hard to fix
but I could get lost- lose my way
finding my way back could be disastrous
Standing still does not help my aching feet
Make a decision - any decision
Live your life and do more than
just breathe
