A funny poem about hamsters, suitable for all ages. |
I like hamsters do, you like them too? I like hamsters, do you like them too? They go on their wheels and hide in our shoes, They eat your belongings and stuff food in their cheeks, They love to eat vegetables like cabbage and leeks, They also like fruit especially grapes, They scamper around and try to escape, When they know you're not going to look, They eat your jewellery and the odd book, They have long whiskers and a small twitching nose, And they have tiny, sharp claws on top of their toes, They have very large ears compared to their size, And they have big, black, beady eyes, They hold food in their paws and nibble it carefully, They topple over and fall about clumsily, They climb up the curtains and the legs of the chairs, They are mini acrobats without any cares, I like hamsters, do you like them too? They are the best pets, I know that's true! |
