A Halloween poem

Tis the Season when witches on broomsticks fly
Over the moon, in a black velvet sky.
‘Tis the season of the Jack-O-Lantern;
Its evil grin makes your stomach churn.
Ghastly ghouls and goblins go on parade;
Monsters, werewolves, demons in masquerade.
Come October thirty-first every year
I bulk my doors and windows; shake with fear.
The Season of Mayhem has truly begun.
Oooh How I dread October thirty-one!
