-Never Taste of The Fruit- by Keaton Foster The serpent The snake All of human fate Wicked this way Twisted some might say Doing what he could Changing the plan Temptation is only a game Masterfully did he play Adam and Eve Fools of creation God's hopeless gestation He warned them And then he did nothing As such a warning was ignored Who was really at fault Who should have been blamed Who should have been thrown out Of Eden's safe embrace Into forever's wilderness Deeply mired by change Good and bad Right and wrong God and the Devil Clarity eludes each Eventually does indeed waste The answers will come Long after Any question is asked No one will remain To thoroughly understand Such a polarizing relationship The serpent The snake All of human fate Once rested in the hands Of two people inexperienced And emboldenedly I say That it, fate still does Never taste of the fruit If the opportune Presents itself At your leisure Just stand there Declaring kind serpent That my gut is overstuffed Adam and Ever were fools The first of so many Every other to be exact Don't let their mistakes Become all of ours Give us a chance to sin A chance to truly decide What a glorious decision That would be Live in peace Or eat the forbidden fruit I am quite sure That you would see That so many have long since Lost their appetites Never taste of the fruit It's not poisoned It won't make you sick It will only change the plan A heavenly ordained series Of catastrophic events All meant to teach us something What exactly Goes back to the Garden of Eden And God's hand at creationism Not only ours, but in all honesty His...
