The morning sky was just starting to lift above the trees, with the weather below 20 it was perfect. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to have any luck but I knew I was where I needed to be, the white oaks just beginning to drop acorns beside a small creek with a slight trickle. The wind blowing through the dead limbs whistling behind me with loud whispers, the open wooded area was silent and no movement was present except for a lonesome squirrel eating the acorns, until finally I saw some movement beside the honeysuckle bushes it was the one I have been waiting for a beautiful rack ten. I shot him and he dropped in his tracks without a wiggle.
