The Love of a Good Man

I believe the time will come when I have the love of a good man

One who will give me great pleasure

One who will spend time with me when I need it

Comfort me when I'm down

And love me when I'm lonely

I need a man who will have all the time in the world for me when I need it most

I need a man who has eyes for only me

Who has love for only me

And whose body belongs to only me

I pray one day I will find happiness like that

Oh what I'd give for a love true to my heart

I pray I'll find what I need in a man someday

You can't hope for too much when it comes to love

Maybe the guy I'm looking for is right under my nose

And he just hasn't shown his true colors

Anyway I will love him as he is

And he will love me back

Especially the way love should be given and felt
