Let the rain fall down
in my outstretched hand,
it clears away this wasted land.
A light shines through the clouds on me
but rain keeps falling over all I see.
I was unclean
covered in mud and filth,
a lifetime
of being the dirty sylph.
Now the rain comes
to wash away
all the dirty little things
I let you say.
Ugly cities full of people
are all around,
but loneliness is all
I've ever found.
Hateful people just
wont stay away,
so I pray for rain
every day.
Let the rain fall down
and wash away your fear,
the tide begins to rise
as the future draws near,
so clutch to your breast
all you hold dear
and never be afraid
to shed a tear.
