The rose of blue.

You have caused my heartache,
twas you that made my heart break.
This blue rose of mine
blooms for you to take.

You came and shifted my reality,
the change so great that all could see.
My heart blossomed and I thought I could be
nothing more than your everything.

That is until you walked away
and stole with you the light of day.
What once made my heart race
now has frozen it in place.

Our roses grew entwined together
or so I thought till you changed the weather.
There in the cold my rose changed hue,
now it blooms the rose of blue
