Rain drops


They fall again tonight
My only friends
In my lonely room
Outside in the dark

They fall again tonight
Whether I want them or not
They are here with me
To remind me you are not

They fall again tonight
They start off so gently
Just a drop here and there
I know it's only just begun

They fall again tonight
Coming down so hard
I wonder how the sky
And my heart ever held them

They fall again tonight
It's such a lonely sound
To hear them hit the window
And fall from my eyes in the dark
